Arriving late or leaving early

We encourage parents to make appointments outside of school hours. However we know that this is sometimes unavoidable.

If your child is late to school or needs to be collected early, a parent/caregiver needs to visit the office. Our administration staff will mark the roll accordingly and give you or your child a slip to pass to their classroom teacher.

Every minute counts

  • When you child misses just 10 minutes a day that equals 50 minutes of learning each week which is nearly 1 and half weeks per year and therefore, fom Kindy to Year 12, that is nearly half a year of school.
  • When you child misses just 20 minutes a day that equals 1 hour and 40 minutes of learning each week which is nearly 2  and half weeks per year and therefore, fom Kindy to Year 12, that is nearly a year of school.
  • When you child misses just half hour a day that equals half day of learning a week which is nearly 4 weeks a year and therefore, fom Kindy to Year 12, that is nearly 1 and half year of learning.
  • When you child misses just half hour a day that equals half day of learning a week which is nearly 4 weeks a year and therefore, fom Kindy to Year 12, that is nearly 1 and half year of learning.
  • When you child misses just 1 hour each day that equals 1 whole day of learning a week which is nearly 8 weeks per year or nearly a term a year and therefore, fom Kindy to Year 12, that is over 2 and half year of learning.

Your child's best learning time is at the beginning of the day

Check the time your school starts. Don't be late!
