Stay Connected and Get Involved

At Bogangar Public School, we value the strong partnerships we share with our families and local community. As a parent or carer, you are a vital part of our school, and your involvement plays an important role in enriching the learning environment for all students.

Stay connected through our parent communications app, School Bytes, and get involved by joining our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or volunteering your time at the school. Whether it’s helping out at events, supporting classroom activities, or contributing your ideas through the P&C, your support makes a real difference.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Our school is inclusive. Anyone in the school community can join our P&C. This includes:

• Parents and carers

• Grandparents

P&C meetings

The Bogangar Public School Parents and Citizens (P&C) meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month (February to November) at 6.00pm at the Cabarita Beach SLSC. There is a $1 joining fee.

The dates are advertised on the School Bytes Parent calendar. The fee gives you a say in discussions and a vote on decisions being made.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen & uniform shop (P&C run)
• getting involved in the P&C.
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
